Highway 7 in Chile also known as Carretera Austral (“The Southern Road”)
An unpaved rural way 1250 km long and is considered to be one of the most beautiful roads in the world.
It is one of the most remote destinations in Patagonia and is a “Must” for many adventurous Travelers from around the world.
The Carretera Austral is the essence of Patagonian beauty in all its diversity - Waterfalls, Raging Rivers, Gigantic Cliffs, Hanging Glaciers, Hot springs, Rain forests, Lakes in dozens of colors, Pacific fjords and vast ice fields.
In addition one can experience the Patagonian culture - The Local Cowboys (“huasos”) are a common sight, share a bitter Mate with the locals, enjoy traditional Asado BBQ, and attend cultural events such as Chilean Rodeo.
